I love winter! I love all the seasons, but a winter landscape is magical. Snow muffles sounds and it’s so quiet! Some of my friends like to paint designs on glass that touches the air outside human spaces. Beginners often just coat the glass with ice. The artisans will paint beautiful swirly designs.

I have a human I often follow around and she’s not into winter as much as I am. She recently went to a cabin in the woods and it snowed taller than me while she was there. She was with other humans and they talked about writing books. My human is stuck in her story, but I’ve started whispering in her ear. There is a story that needs to be told about a special girl that can travel through the wood wide web. I’ve waited for years, but that wasn’t enough information for my human.

She actually read her first paragraph out loud to the other humans! I am so proud of her! She must hear some of my other whispers because she talked about some of them last night. That’s when I realized she didn’t understand all of the whispers. She talked about choosing which trees the girl visited in her travels of the wood wide web. She was trying to categorize them to narrow it down. I decided last night to whisper to my human, the girl visited all of the trees I’ve been telling her about. Some were trees were before her Great Quest, but the Great Quest trees included endanger trees, old trees, special trees, AND the Oghm trees. I think she finally got it because she got excited and wrote on her computer for quite a while!
